The Mouk people of Tempane in the Kusaug Kingdom proudly celebrated the 24th edition of the Danjuar Festival under the theme “Honouring Our Tradition, Empowering the Next Generation.”
The colourful event was graced by Hon. Akanvariva Lydia Lamisi the Hon. Member of Parliament for Tempane and Hon. Mbilla Joseph Ayaaba the District Chief Executive, who both reaffirmed their commitment to youth empowerment, education, and development in the district.
Danjuar is an annual traditional festival that promotes unity, thanksgiving, reconciliation, and community development among the Mouk people. This year’s celebration highlighted the importance of preserving our rich cultural heritage while preparing the younger generation for the future.
