The Tempane District Assembly, under the leadership of the Hon. District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Mbilla Joseph Ayaaba, in collaboration with the Hon. Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tempane Constituency, Hon. Lydia Adakudugun Akanvariba, organized a series of sod-cutting ceremonies for key developmental projects across selected communities in the Tempane District on 31st December, 2025. The ceremonies marked the official commencement of infrastructural projects aimed at improving access to education, health care, potable water, and overall socio-economic development in the district.
The sod-cutting exercise formed part of the commitment of government, through the District Assembly and the Member of Parliament, to fulfill campaign promises made during the 2024 general elections and to respond to the pressing development needs of the people of Tempane District. The events also provided an opportunity for direct engagement between government officials, traditional authorities, community members, and other stakeholders.
