DCE Engages Traditional Authorities Across Four Paramountcies
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Tempane has embarked on a strategic engagement with traditional authorities across the district to strengthen collaboration towards sustainable development. The visit covered the four paramount traditional areas—Tempane, Gagbiri, Bugri, and Kpikpira—where the DCE held fruitful discussions with the respective Paramount Chiefs and their elders.
Accompanied by a team of key officials, including the District Coordinating Director (DCD), the District Director of Agriculture, among others , the DCE highlighted government’s ongoing interventions, development priorities, and the need for deeper cooperation between state institutions and traditional leadership.
The Paramount Chiefs commended the outreach and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the district’s development agenda. Issues bordering on agriculture, education, security, youth development, and community infrastructure were deliberated, with both sides agreeing to work closely to address emerging challenges.
The engagement forms part of the DCE’s broader effort to promote inclusive governance, strengthen relationships with traditional institutions, and ensure that development interventions reflect the needs of local communities.
