NIA Operations Director Pays Courtesy Call on Tempane DCE Following Border Registration Monitoring

The District Chief Executive for the Tempane District Assembly, Hon. Joseph Mbilla, on Monday 27th July, 2026 welcomed a delegation from the National Identification Authority (NIA) led by Lt. Colonel Joseph Nii Okaija Quaye,Director of Operations.

The delegation also included Mr. Dzorgbesi Mawuli Cudjoe Senior Staff of the NIA, and Mr. Emmanuel Arthur, Upper East Regional Registration Officer.

The visit followed a monitoring exercise undertaken by the team to assess ongoing Ghana Card registration activities in border communities, including Pusiga, Paga, and parts of the Upper West Region.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity for the delegation to brief the DCE on their monitoring activities and discuss issues relating to the effective implementation of the registration exercise in border areas. Hon. Joseph Mbilla commended the NIA for its commitment to ensuring a credible and inclusive registration process and reaffirmed the Assembly’s support for initiatives aimed at strengthening national identification and improving public service delivery.

The Tempane District Assembly remains committed to collaborating with key state institutions to promote efficient service delivery and safeguard the integrity of national development programmes.
